This week we learned about some of the important best practices for technology in education.
Why use technology in the classroom and why is it important to use the best practices?
Technology is growing everyday and people around the world is using this to help advance their education. It is best to use best practice because it will help, "make sense of the
information and to aid identification of their important technological components
and their potential effectiveness within education both now and in the future" (White Paper

Technology).
Finding and doing case studies will help grow and understand what works and what doesn't work. By conducting case studies they were to summarize some of the trends for best practices for technology in education. There are five trends that they are able to conclude and are as followed:
• New structures and funding model
• The relationships among teachers, pupils, and parents
• The relationships among education, technology, and innovation
• More sophisticated blended approaches to learning
• More sophisticated forms of assessment and evaluation
After reading the article, "Best Practices in Education Technology" I have also come to learn culture, relationships, and approach plays a big role. I find this very interesting because if you think about it these three things normally play a big role in everything we do.
My children are growing up against technology in the classroom. To me they are very tech savvy and I love the fact that they can tech me things that I don't know or understand.
